Holly Gordon is a strategic advisor and impact leader with deep expertise in storytelling, systems thinking, and cross-sector partnership. She brings decades of experience helping mission-driven organizations translate bold ideas into cultural momentum and measurable change—through narrative strategy, stakeholder engagement, and public trust-building.

Holly serves as an advisor to the Sean Connery Foundation, a $100 million endowment investing in education and ocean conservation in Scotland and The Bahamas. She also advises the Baszucki Group, a philanthropic organization directing resources toward the greater good through mission-driven investments that improve human health, regenerate the earth’s soils and ecosystems, and foster a more representative government in America.

Previously, she was Chief Impact Officer at Participant Media, where she led campaigns for award-winning films like ROMA, Dark Waters, and American Factory, driving outcomes that included policy shifts, global awareness campaigns, and civic engagement.

As co-founder and former CEO of Girl Rising, Holly helped shape a movement for girls’ education that reached millions and influenced both U.S. foreign policy and grassroots activism. Her early career as a journalist at ABC News grounded her in the power of principled storytelling to illuminate systems and spark action.

Holly’s work consistently centers on building purpose-driven coalitions, aligning values across sectors, and equipping organizations to lead with clarity and impact—insights she now brings to climate-focused systems change. She is a Presidential Leadership Scholar, a UN Foundation Leadership Award recipient, and currently serves on the board of JUST Capital.
